As it has been a rather long time since I’ve updated my blog, I thought I’d repost my introduction from previous. So, this post covers a brief intro about me and a short description of the purpose of the blog. Enjoy!
Who am I?
I’m a Danish Expat currently based in Dusseldorf, Germany where I work as a Communication Specialist focusing on bringing the best stories about the company, manage and support internal projects such as company-wide events, podcasts, newsletters and day-to-day communications with the teams, I’ve been allocated to. I have around 3 years of experience working within communications for public and private companies in Denmark and Germany.
My interests are, among others, cooking, drawing and I recently took up a jewelry course – just to get to do some kind of manual work and learn a new skill. Besides that, writing and reading are both major interests of mine (one of the reasons why I ended up studying a language).
Finally, traveling has always been a big part of my life, and more so recently after I moved abroad – I often travel to see friends and family located near and far from where I live. I also try to make one “big” international trip every other year – the most recent trip was India (again) in December 2019.
My winters are preferably spent skiing and my summers somewhere with mountains to hike, culture to absorb and good food to eat.
Although this blog was created before one of my biggest trips to date: Solo traveling and YTT in India back in 2016 (read about my experiences here), the purpose of my blog is to have a little corner of the Internet where I can expose my work, keep up with my writing and keep developing my technical skills within WP.
